The  Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) Match might be held from March 23, 2025, to May 29, 2025 (As per previous schedule). According to recent reports, IPL franchises will be permitted to retain up to six players and utilize one RTM (Right to Match) card during the highly anticipated Mega Auction, which is slated to take place in 24, 25 November 2024 this year. These updates were finalized during the IPL Governing Council Meeting held in Bengaluru on Saturday, October 28.

IPL Mega Auction 2025 New Retention Rules (4 Players)

BCCI  Bring the new mega auction rules for the 4 retention player rules where every team franchise owners have right to retain their maxing four main players for next 5 years and has to release all players for mega auction where all 10 team place bid to Buy players for their team. Each team can retain 2 indian players and 2 oversea players . The purchasing bid should be less the Rs 33 crore of total 100 crores.

BCCI also set the minimum purse limit that should be 100 crores then recall letter and it is now 67 crore.The deadline for all franchise owner will be expected to be 30, November 2024 as the mini auction will be done in Decembe 2024 month.
